We were inspired by one of the most exclusive, dangerous and oldest winter sports in Switzerland: The ‘Cresta Run’, where skeleton racing originated in 1884.

This symbiosis of sporty elegance and a confident business look while off the skeleton racing track offers an impressive appearance virtually year round.

As an alternative to the basic Casual Jacket with its wine-red cashmere lining, we offer this item with a herringbone-patterned black-and-grey cashmere lining and pure, deep black Loro Piana cashmere outer fabric. This exceptional combination creates a personalised microclimate of comfort and wearability.

You can further protect yourself against cold air and snow in the winter months with a detachable cashmere hood thanks to F-SIS (FUR-SET INDIVIDUALISATION SYSTEM).

Individualise your Casual Jacket with collar, hood ruff and yoke applications in 7 types of fur, artificial fur and leather (additional charge). Accessorise according to the occasion: Raccoon, Coyote, Rex Rabbit, Persian Lamb, artificial fur or Cowhide instead of fur.

Our carefully selected Loro Piana cashmere has a fibre density of 385 g/m², creating a windproof knitted barrier from pure natural fibre. Cashmere wool fibres are only 7 to 19 microns in diameter.

By comparison, conventional wool fibres are more than 36 microns in diameter, two to five times thicker, resulting in a more porous knit.

The hydrophilic membrane on the inside of the knit is applied via a lamination process. The structure of this micromolecular membrane is pore-free, making it windproof and water resistant while allowing the skin to breathe.

Exploiting the principle of osmosis, the aqueous vapour produced by perspiration wicks outwards while humidity in the surrounding environment is prevented from entering.

These fine membranes are light and elastic. For optimum comfort and absolute freedom of movement.

Loro Piana’s membrane technology sets new standards for transpirability and provides optimal wind protection.

The wool of the Cashmere Goat

Cashmere wool comes from the hair of the Cashmere goat.

This fine and extremely soft fibre is obtained not by shearing but by hand combing and hand collecting the hair shed by the Cashmere goat during spring moulting.

Only 150 to 200 grams of this fluffy wool can be obtained from each animal per year. This modest yield from time-intensive and highly skilled manual labour in remote regions makes cashmere the most valuable wool in the world.
